I have been taking my dog Holder to Pooches for about 3 years now. He gets excited to go there and happy goes back with whoever comes to meet him at the front. He is always exhausted when i pick him up and i know hes had a good day getting lots of attention and playing with friends. He's a medium sized dog but he's as we call him, "sensitive". So on those busy days with lots of dogs they know hes more comfortable in the small dog room. I appreciate that everyone at Pooches takes the time to get to know each pooch. I moved back to Winnipeg in December 2014 with my two dogs: Hudson a Standard English Golden Doodle and Adelaide, a Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs have gone to different daycares over their 11 and 10 years respectively as I moved cities or jobs. I have been extremely fortunate to find very good care for my pups in all locations, but Pooches Playhouse is by far the best run facility my pups have attended. The care and attention each dog is given, along with knowledgeable management, makes this a place that you can leave your pups without any concern. They have attended daycare regularly for over 4 years now and have also taken advantage of overnight stays. My pups run to the door and don’t look back even for a second. Thank You Meaghan and Korey for opening Pooches and of course a great big shout out to the wonderful day and night care sitters. You guys are the best! Pooches playhouse is a great center. I saw friend like their facebook page before I got my dog Spock. Everyday they posted pictures of the activities and the dogs which captured my attention. I had been thinking of getting another dog since my previous dog had passed but I knew at work I would soon be working on a large project and there was the possibility that I would have to travel overseas. As I watched their Facebook page I liked what I saw. I knew that there was no reason to put off getting a dog. These people had heart and if and when I'd have to travel I knew he would be left in the best place. I found Spock in October 2013 and right away he started going there. He was a rescue dog I knew nothing about him but I knew was fearful of all men that he met. Spock never once barked when we walked in and he met Korey (again a sign this place is great if the animal is calm it says alot in my books). As Spock went he developed into a confident dog no longer scared of everything. The activities they plan from obstacle day, holiday themed days, pictures with Santa and the many birthday events they make everything about a dog's life special. The day came when I received the news I would be going overseas for almost a month. I remember Meaghan post a comment about him breaking a record for being the longest pooch to stay as I was flying and I thought man I'm sure gonna miss that little bed hog. The time went by fast and before I knew it I was picking him up. They kept me updated on the little guy by posting pics and videos. They went above and beyond by sending private messages just to keep in touch. I couldn't be happier with their service. Not only does this business care about your pooches they also care about community. They hold adoption days for rescues, they are drop offs for various charities and hold events for animal care. I recently got certified with pet first aid all because they held a course at the business. How great to be taking this course along side the owner, again reassurance this place takes and cares for every aspect of your pooch. My dog and any other dog I get in the future will continue to go there. I repost many of their pictures from facebook or instagram with my dog and have had friends and coworkers tell me they sent their dog there just because of all the sharing of posts. They see the care and difference in my dog and know I expect the best in service from companies. To see how frequent my dog goes they know I value this company. I cannot Thank them enough for all their hard work and care that they give every animal. To me this is the best place and only place I will send my dog.

Pooches Playhouse has been nothing but amazing to us and our crazy dog, Bowser. We have used their services since he was just over 4 months old. Dealing with Bowser's separation anxiety was difficult but having Pooches there for all those overnights, long days, and sometimes those quick 30 minute stops was a HUGE help. We are forever grateful for your amazing daycare and for giving our dog a safe place to spend his day/night! Sometimes I feel Bowser is more excited to be dropped off than to be picked up!

I have been bringing my puppy to Pooches Play house for about 3 months now and I couldn’t be more happy with the service we receive. It is reassuring to know that I can bring my puppy to a place that with give such good care and attention and have her come home well exercised. I love that they take the time to upload photos on their social media sites and I am able to see all of the interaction that my puppy receives. Their ‘pawties’ are also very cute! I would highly recommend Pooches Play House.

I first heard about Pooches Playhouse from a co-worker. I live an hour from Winnipeg and always rushed home from shopping or date nights with my husband, because of our dogs. Now, our dogs come with us to Winnipeg and love spending the day at Pooches Playhouse! They love socializing with the other dogs and the staff are wonderful. The staff bond with the dogs remember their names after one visit. It comforts my husband and I that Pooches post pictures of the dogs on their Facebook page and we see they are having fun. I know the dogs enjoy going to Pooches, when they start whining and getting excited the closer we get to the Concordia turn off and the car door opens and they run straight to the door, to be greeted by Meaghan or Korey! The rides home are quiet, because they are all tuckered out.
Because my dogs love Pooches Playhouse so much, I look for excuses to spend more time in Winnipeg, so they can go to the best doggie daycare!

Lucy & Foxtrot started attending daycare about four months ago. We make it a weekly routine as the dogs get super excited to spend the day with the amazing and caring staff. While at daycare Foxtrot has become more socialized, and willing to be around other dogs. Lucy, one of the smaller pups at daycare, stands her grounds and often makes new friends while climbing on the play structures inside.
It is great to hear about how the dogs were when pick-up time comes. Seeing photos of how active the dogs still makes me feel apart of their days. I won't take my dogs to any other daycare because Pooches Playhouse is their new home. Thanks to all the staff who make it such an oasis for the dogs!

I’ve been taking Ozzy to Pooches Playhouse for well over a year and couldn’t be happier with the service they provide. It amazes me that Korey remembers every dogs name as soon as they walk in the door, and Meghan knows on sight that you’re there to pick up! This isn’t just a place to for socializing; efforts are made to engage the dogs; setting up birthday parties, obstacle courses, and theme days. I know that Ozzy absolutely loves it there; he gets very vocal as soon as we get close and he recognizes the area! The fact the he’s asleep in the car before I leave the parking lot tells me that he’s definitely socializing while there!

We have been taking our shepherd-Doberman cross, Riggs, to Pooches Playhouse for over two years. We absolutely love it! Riggs is always played out and will sleep for almost an entire day when he gets back home. The workers are trustworthy and professional. We feel blessed to have found such a great daycare and groomer for our dog. Thank you Pooches Playhouse. You rock!

The first time I took Cooper to Pooches Playhouse, he was nervous and unsure. Then to top it off, Korey took his leash and led him away from me. Cooper is fearful of men and I was sure that he was in a panic. Now Cooper has been attending Pooches for over a year and is excited to go, even pulling me to the door when we arrive. Now Cooper has a “man-crush” on Koery and is overjoyed to see him or Meaghan every time. Meaghan and Korey take amazing care of Cooper when he is there and I feel 100% confident knowing that he is happy and safe. The fact that I can look in on him through FaceBook photos is great too! Thanks Pooches for all that you do for Cooper!!

Hi, my name is Buddy and I am a pretty active 10 month old Rottweiler/Shepard mix. I love playing with other dogs so Pooches Playhouse is one of my favourite places in the whole world! When my mom brought me there for the first time they made me feel so welcome, and now they remember my name every time I go there even though they have so many other awesome dogs that come there too! My mom likes to drop me off there if she has a busy day and knows that she can’t spend a lot of time with me. The humans at Pooches take good of me and let me play, play, play all day so that when mom comes back to get me I’m ready to eat dinner and sleep!!! Oh yah, and when it’s time to get my nails cut (mom doesn’t like to do it for some reason), she can make arrangements to have that done while I’m at daycare. Next time she goes out of town, I’m hoping she’ll let me stay here for a sleepover with my friends (human and doggy)!

We love, love, love Pooches Playhouse! Banksy has been going to day care since he was 4 months old. He is , without a doubt, the most vocal on the car ride to Pooches and I'm sure he has a bromance going on with Korey. When I talk about "daycare" at work, everyone assumes I'm talking about my kid's daycare - birthday parties, art day, obstacle course, easter egg hunts.....nope. Doggie daycare at Pooches. Best place ever. It feels like family there. I just wish I could spend the day there with Banksy. Highly recommend Pooches playhouse.

When Mandy first started attending daycare she was exhibiting signs of fear-aggression. She was afraid of all dogs, especially bigger ones, and most people. After a few months at Pooches, and a lot of patience on the part of the great people who work there, Mandy overcame her fear and is now much more pleasant to walk around the neighbourhood, making friends with other dogs wherever we go. Mandy has been attending Pooches since they opened and still lets out high-pitched squeals in the car when she knows that is the direction we are driving. Mandy loves her play time at day care and loves all the people and dogs that go there.

If dogs could talk, we know that our dog would definitely be begging to go to Pooches Playhouse each day! It’s a fun and safe environment for dogs to be free to socialize and play with each other! Our beagle puppy began training classes at Pooches Playhouse at 10 weeks of age and it was a wonderful experience for our whole family! Our dog regularly attends the day camp and happily pulls on her leash because she can’t wait to get through the door to see all of her dog friends! We meet a lot of the dogs who attend Pooches Playhouse on our daily walks in the neighbourhood and it’s obvious to see that the dogs know each other from daycare! The staff at Pooches Playhouse are friendly and out-going! When we leave our dog at the daycare we are confident that she is in excellent caring hands!

Thank You Thank You Thank You!! We always leave Pooches Playhouse saying this to Meaghan or Korey!! They provide such an amazing place for our dog Chevy to go! As soon as we get in the car Chevy is immediately excited and howling and whining with glee as he knows most car rides end up at Pooches! We have been taking him to Pooches since he was 8 months old and we always get him groomed there too. He comes home happy, content and always tuckered out from how much fun he has had! This past May we had his Barkday Party for his 2nd Birthday and Meagan always seems to capture him at his happiest moments! Full of Dog Smiles and wearing a party hat. I even got that photo developed and framed for our household. So thank you Pooches for your amazing dedication to providing us with an alternate place for Chevy when our lives are too busy, or we are going out of town, or just a fun place for him to run off some extra energy and meet all his doggy pals for a playdate!

We are so happy that we stumbled upon Pooches Playhouse. I first found them on Instagram and thought that if I had a dog, it would be such a good place to bring him/her. Well, in November 2014, we welcomed our new little furbaby, Thorburn! He started attending Pooches when he was about 4 months old, and at first I felt like a mother dropping her kid off at daycare for the first time. I wondered how he would like it, if he would get along well with the other dogs. Well...he did great!! I felt so comfortable leaving him there and no worries or concerns. Fast forward almost 8 months later, and Thorburn is still going at least once a week, sometimes twice. Thorburn LOVES it there, probably more than he does at home, haha. Whenever I say Pooches, his tail starts wagging and he gets so excited. When we pull up to Pooches, he starts whining with excitement and runs right to the door, waiting for Meaghan or Korey. He starts jumping because he's so excited, even now that he's close to 75 pounds. Pooches has been and always will be our daycare of choice! I love seeing the photos that are uploaded daily, especially the ones from the Barkday Pawty's. Meaghan and Korey are amazing owners and know exactly how to handle dogs, especially being the dog lovers they are as well!
